It’s a good idea to train a dog to love one, but at The Country Ranch dogs are not stuck in a crate because it’s more convenient or profitable. They rest where they need to.
We want every moment to be as productive as possible.
Discover the Difference
Most owners would be shocked to learn how much their dog is left alone, inside during their day of Doggy Daycare or Overnight Boarding. One prominent Vancouver area boarding facility offers two one to one and a half hour walks for an entire twenty-four hour period. Recently I learned of a well known Vancouver area Doggy Daycare that put all the dogs away for a five hour block during the day. At The Country Ranch we do every thing possible to draw dogs into the pack every moment they spend here in order for each dog to be completely satisfied and gain a high degree of confidence. Some are play fighting, off and on, all day long. Some spend hour after hour combing the property for smells amassing and assimilating thousands of facts about the hundreds of dogs who have recently been there before them. Some spend time exploring the family house or resting with a couple of others in the living room. Some are still play fighting at nine in the evening in the yards or in the house, some lying in their beds and play fighting with just their heads. Satisfied and confident, they’re living the magical, mysterious life as a member of a healthy, well behaved pack of dogs.

The Country Ranch has helped our pup.” - Kristen Jones, Whistler
